Data We Collect and Why
This website is a static informational site. It does not use analytics, advertising trackers, or cookies, and it has no contact form, account system, or newsletter sign-up. The only personal data processed in connection with the website is described below.
- Correspondence you send us. If you email eimantas@stork.software — including via the "Get in touch" links on this site — we process the information you include, such as your name, email address, and project details, to respond to your message and, where relevant, to prepare a proposal or provide our services. Legal basis: Article 6(1)(b) GDPR (steps taken prior to entering into a contract), or Article 6(1)(f) GDPR (our legitimate interest in responding to enquiries) where no contract is contemplated.
- Technical data collected by our hosting provider. This site is hosted on Cloudflare's network. Cloudflare automatically processes limited technical data for every visit — such as IP address, browser type, and request timestamps — to deliver the site, protect it against abuse, and maintain basic traffic logs. We do not access this data for tracking or profiling. Legal basis: Article 6(1)(f) GDPR (legitimate interest in operating and securing the website).
- Fonts loaded from Google. This site currently loads the "Familjen Grotesk" and "Inter" typefaces directly from Google Fonts. When your browser requests these fonts, your IP address is sent to Google as the operator of that service. Legal basis: Article 6(1)(f) GDPR (legitimate interest in accessible, performant typography). See "Retention, Sharing, and International Transfers" below for more on this transfer.
Cookies
This website does not set cookies and does not use any third-party analytics, advertising, or tracking technology. No cookie banner is shown because no non-essential cookies are used.
Retention, Sharing, and International Transfers
We keep correspondence for as long as needed to handle your enquiry or carry out an agreement with you, and afterwards for as long as required under Lithuanian accounting and tax law where a paid engagement results. Hosting logs held by Cloudflare are retained only for the short period needed for security and operational purposes, in line with Cloudflare's own retention practices.
We do not sell personal data. We share it only with: (a) Cloudflare, Inc., which hosts this website and, to that extent, acts as our processor; and (b) Google LLC, from which font files are requested directly by your browser, as described above. Both companies participate in recognised safeguards — such as the EU–US Data Privacy Framework and the European Commission's Standard Contractual Clauses — for personal data transferred outside the European Economic Area. Further detail is available in Cloudflare's and Google's own privacy documentation.
Your Rights Under the GDPR
Under the GDPR, you have the right to:
- Access the personal data we hold about you
- Request correction of inaccurate data
- Request erasure of your data, where applicable
- Restrict or object to certain processing
- Receive a copy of your data in a portable format
- Withdraw consent at any time, where processing is based on consent
To exercise any of these rights, email eimantas@stork.software. If you believe your data has been processed unlawfully, you also have the right to lodge a complaint with the State Data Protection Inspectorate of Lithuania (Valstybinė duomenų apsaugos inspekcija), the supervisory authority for data protection in Lithuania — vdai.lrv.lt— or with the data protection authority in your own EU member state.
Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes to the website or to applicable law. Any changes will be reflected by updating the date at the top of this page.
